The East Ann Arbor Surgery and Medical Procedures Center is conveniently
located on the East Medical Campus, at the corner of Plymouth and Earhart roads,
near US-23 and M-14. There is FREE parking in front of the Center.
The Center is staffed with U-M's finest physicians, nurses and other health
care professionals. Patients receive the same excellent care that is offered
throughout the University of Michigan Health System. The Center has four
endoscopy procedure rooms and a surgical suite of six operating rooms, totaling
49,000 square feet of state-of-the-art medical facilities. All six operating
rooms are equipped for minimally invasive surgery, where arthroscopic and
laparoscopic devices are employed to create smaller incisions, resulting in
faster recovery. The Center is also supported by a pathologist and lab to
insure specimen integrity and provide intraoperative analysis for applicable
procedures. If you need to be scheduled for outpatient surgery or a GI
endoscopic procedure, your physician's office will determine the most
appropriate location. Patients 50 years or older may self-schedule a screening
colonoscopy through the Endoscopy Appointments number listed above.
